User Properties

You can enrich Air360 data via API by adding user properties such as age, demographic-related info, company name, etc. to open more possibilities for analytics and automation.

You can send these user properties at any time but here are a couple of use cases:

- When your user signs up: You can use setUserProperties API with any relevant information about this user

- When your user edits his/her profile: You can use setUserPorperties API to add any relevant change/info that you want to be tracked in Air360. This could be a current plan, if a user set an avatar, if a user has a billing address properly set, etc.

You can find more info on how to use the set user properties API here.

In addition to that, you can also add user properties from your servers using our server-side API even while your users are not interacting with your site. Please refer here to find out more on how to add user properties using our server-side API.

Custom events

Even though Air360 tracks every single interaction your users have with your site, there can be cases that you may want to define and track your custom events.

If the custom events you want to track are related to user actions, you can use track API for it. Examples of use cases can be when your user changed his subscription plan, performed a search, or interacted with third-party product recommendations.

You can find out more info on how to use the tracking API here or read this article about implementing our Custom API through Google Tag Manager:

On the other hand, you may also want to track custom events of your users that might not be available on the client-side and add them in Air360. In other words, you will be able to add server-side events of your users even while your users are not interacting with your site using our server-side API.

One specific use case will be tracked when a pushed notification is sent, or a pop-up from a third party is displayed on your website, sending an email campaign…etc.
