Has this ever happened to you when you were creating/defining an event?

No data was displayed on the previewed chart?

When you create an event manually, we always encourage you to click on preview button before you save your event to make sure your event is set right.

This chart will let you know if your event definition makes sense, or not.

Let’s see what happened in this case:

I created a manual event that triggers every time a user clicks on “purchase” button that makes the action of adding a product to cart.

The event seems to be working fine but when I add some conditions to the event like Browser type , no data is showing

In this case the error is on the AND/OR field of Browser type. I pick AND meaning that the event will only trigger when a user coming from Safari AND Firefox browser clicks on Purchase Button. And that is defenitetly not possible, an user can either come from one browser or another, not from both at the same time.

Now that I changed the condition to OR  the event is showing data:

So next time you create an specific event make sure you always click on preview to check that the event is well defined. Also pay particular attention to AND/OR conditions.

I am sure this tips help you on your event definition
